Doing that with a very used Delta Elite.
Been in the shop a month now.
I should have taken a picture of it before it went in

I wonder if gunsmiths take a before and after picture... they probably don't, but maybe they should start.

I'm sure you could call and ask them to take a picture as it is right at the moment, everyone's got a cell phone camera.

if they ask why you tell him the "devil " made you do it.

        Thanks Luger!

A buddy from work has done exactly that. I wish I had a picture of it I think it's a colt army and it looks like it sat outside in the dirt and water for years. The whole frame and slide is pitted to all hell but it looks awesome in my opinion. Shoots great after he fixed all the internals.
The laws that forbid the carrying of arms are laws of such a nature. They disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes.... Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man." - Thomas Jefferson (quoting 18th century criminologist Cesare Beccaria)"
