It's kinda up to you, MK 25 is on roster, but there is a CA version and non- CA version. a technicality is the roster only states MK25, without specifying. Have you considered getting the pistol and just getting a stripped AR lower for later?
If you need help with any stragglers, call a friend, because it's likely that they have a gun. America in particular have done exceptionally well taking care of the problem, as there are 1.12 guns for every 1 American citizen. So throw a rock, you'll probably hit a gun, pick up that gun, then shoot a zombie.

I considered building another Ar. I built my first rifle to my tastes. I just think its cheaper to go and buy a colt le 6920. or the like. its interesting that the mk25 is listed that way on the roster. I might have to do some sleuthing to see if i can get one without an sse.

Get a P226. Hands down the best 9mm I've ever shot.

I have a California Mk 25. It is a very nice pistol, good ergonomics for me. I did change the trigger around with the short reset kit. The long reset it comes with drove me crazy after firing my Beretta and CZ.
I'd agree with you but then we'd both be wrong...
