    Utah Gun Shows

In 3 weeks we are moving to SLC Utah.

They will have a crossroads gunshow there in November. I see they also have a Rocky Mountain gun show..

Anyone been to any of the gunshows in Utah? I'm thinking the Crossroads might be larger there as there would be less restrictions. Never heard of the Rocky Mountain shows.

The only really decent gun show I've experienced was the old Great Westerns in the 70's and 80's at the Pomona fairgrounds.

    What restrictions?

I've been to both. Don't go very often though. Prices aren't any better than can be found online or in the local stores.

I used to live in Utah. I been to the crossroads gun show many times. Just a warning there are more beef jerky, arts and craft tables tables than there are tables with people selling guns. probably 4 to 1 ratio.

Yeah, The Crossroads shows here also have all the beef jerkey and stuff....And high prices..

Was wondering if a gun show there may have larger selections of firearms as there would be less items that are illegal.. No rosters... Pre ban stuff allowed.. Select fire legal (with NFA rules followed)... etc..

Just about everything California makes illegal or hard to get is easy to get in Utah. Rosters, pre ban.. those terms aren't used here.

www.utahgunexchange.com Find something you want, call the guy, agree on a price, and meet him at the local parking lot. Go home with your gun in minutes.

Buy a gun online, ship it to one of the hundreds of FFLs, pay him $20 for the transfer and be done. $7.50 background check, and you don't even pay that with a concealed carry license. No waiting period, no handgun test or card, no locks, no sales tax. Buy as many guns as you like, no purchase limits.

You could spend a month visiting a new gun shop a day within 20 minutes of where you are moving to.
