    Ruger Rant ! !

don't get me wrong, i love my GP100, but, other than grips, there really aren't many other accessories that i can entertain getting for it...it has fixed rear sights, being the model #1715 Stainless Steel 3", and, nobody even seems to have an aftermarket front sight for it

i guess the only thing left to do is just go out and shoot the damn thing

What were you planning on doing to a revolver?

well, other than shooting the hell out of it, there probably isn't a whole lot else, but one can dream, right?

i did find a nice Bianchi Cyclone thumb snap holster for it

trigger work scares me...in SA mode it's already a hair trigger, plus, i've always cautioned myself about the liability factors in California, when it comes to gun modifications...if i ever had to use it in a self defense situation, would that type of aftermarket work come back to bite me in anal region, just because some overzealous DA chalked it up to me having less control over my firearm

this revolver is practically a mirror, i've already polished it up quite a bit

Convert it to 10mm and be hipster about it.

It would get the job done. That thing is a beast, especially the 6" I have my eye on. I think that's my next handgun.

This is probably one of the biggest farces related to gun ownership these days. If you shoot someone in self-defense you have already admitted to homicide.

It won't matter one lick how easy it was to pull the trigger.

Just don't accidentally shoot someone and you will be fine.

I used to compete with my GP-100, so I got some aftermarket Wolff springs that made the double action trigger easier. Other than that, it's a revolver: already nearly perfect.

Your right, most Ruger's aren't built to be turned into ninja mall firearms.

im still not comfortable leaving that kind of stuff up to some gullible jury, especially since i know i'll most likely get sued civilly regardless...either way when i do decide i have to pull the trigger more pull to get it done won't stop me either

You could have a Smith and Wesson adjustable rear sight melted into it?

Yeah That............and the frnt sight is pinned on. Make any profile you want even red/orange insert type.

But then again WTH, it's a 3" Fire Breathing Big Boomer Defensive pistol. Shoot the crap out of it and enjoy every round.

What are you trying to accessorize for? Make it a low cost Talo GP? If you are concerned about the SA implications with self defense you can remove the single action sear and grind the hammer spur off to make it DAO. I did that with my 4" GP until I saw the light and bought a 586 :-P
