It's out of control. Stores are having a very hard time selling ARs yet guys on here want top dollar! The panic has made its way back around and these guys are trying to recover some cash. Bad news is the manufacturer is doing the same. Just bought a brand new LWRC from riffle gear for 1300. That's a 2400.00 gun! I'm glad I'm not selling right now because it's not good.

Ammo is catching up also. 320 shipped for lake city. I've been told they are holding ammo back too so the price will stay up. How long before that drops out the bottom. Everyone bought everything they could get their hands on and the manufacturer kept making ammo and guns. Nows the time to buy. Wait maybe in a few more months is the time to buy lol.

I've been trying to trade my 9mm 1911 RO for a glock 19 gen 4 for over a month now.
I try to be fair by taking the value of both guns from the same website, and asking for the difference if packages are complete and similar condition. I even go with the lowest price difference to benfit the buyer.

Most of the ones that have a g19 to offer, seem to value theirs including SSE/TAX/DROS.. well sht, I didn't value mine including that, why should you?? when they take that approach I guess I might as well do the same!

4 people have done that to me now, its pretty frustrating. I'm just hoping the last person, who seemed the most fair so far, doesn't flake PM me back bro! LOL
          Have a good day!

It is from the first box of .22LR ammuntion that I bought for my rifle so it is very collectible. It is my understanding that any .22LR is rare and hard to come by in the current market.

Wow, didn't realize this had been discussed at such length in the past and didn't expect it to garner such passion.

nah, most of those are guys who have wives that say - "you need to sell one(some) of your guns, you have too many" So they put it up here for some ridiculous asking price so they can show their wife and say, see I have it up for sale, but no one wants it! You see the same thing with boats too.

Don't worry, as we descend deeper into this depression, desperation will take a huge bite outta the delusional pricing/greater fool search!

There are people who are buying off roster guns just because they can. I want to see how many people will pay $800 + for a Gen 4 Glock as opposed to just going with a Gen 3.
Yep. I've even seen a few threads about what SSE they should buy now to sell next year.

Free market. I don't care. A lot of people will pay $800 next year for a $600 gun. But not me.

Keep in mind also that a lot of guys will hang a bunch of doodads on their gun and throw a few aftermarket junk pieces inside and do 20 minutes of kitchen table gunsmithing and are absolutely certain they've created the perfect gun worth twice the retail price. The best way to be sure to do not want to buy that gun is when they start out telling all the great 'improvements' they did

Is that the price you told your wife/girl friend what you paid for it????

That Glock slide is a joke. I just bought a used Glock 19 3rd gen for $380. Also IMO sellers that live in Podunk areas may need to lower prices before they can expect people to come to them. Expecting the vast amount of cgners to come to places like Imperial Valley to do a ppt and pay close to full price is just crazy.

Reminds me of a game I play at gun shops and gun shows, see what the biggest ripoff or scam is I can find.
