    San Diego accidental shooting...

I didnt see a post about this yet.

Did anyone see this story on the news?

Apparently this guy brings a rifle to work and accidentally shoots someone. Looks like he's gonna go down hard.. they're charging him with having an assault weapon, assault with a deadly weapon, and an unrelated drug charge.

They showed a pic of the actual rifle on the KUSI news.. it looked like a post-ban AK. It had a thumbhole stock and 10rd mag. Im guessing the guy probably forgot the register it.

No such thing as an accidental shooting. He didn't perform the safety checks that you should always perform when handling a firearm. Now he and the victim and his family will pay a price for his failure to have some common sense about gun safety.

Hmm, yes, "AK-47 type Assault Weapon", because you'll BE FIRED FOR NOT USING THOSE TERMS AT EVERY OPPERTUNITY!

I was watching the KUSI report on this story and at the end the reporter says something like... "Well, if any good came out of this, at least we got that AK-47 off the streets"
