Colt SAA is Single Action Army - off-Roster revolvers are generally not reduced to Single Shot, but rather Single Action.

Single Action is not affected by the bill.

Yet, the SAA will fail the drop test every time

That is why it's exempt from the legislation.
Sorta exposes the true intent of the law. Doesn't it?

the current status of the Roster and Single Action revolvers is the residue of the 2nd Amendment betrayal by the Cowboy Action shooters who supported SB15.

            This is the truth.

When the "unsafe handgun" legislation was working it's way through the CA legislature, several "pro-gun" groups switched sides (from opposing to supporting the legislation) once they were able to obtain exemptions for their group.

One of those groups, were cowboy action shooters.
