When shipping a rifle through UPS do you have to demonstrate that the rifle is unloaded?
My Volquartsen Evolution had a major disaster at the range last week - pulled the trigger, gun went "bang" but the bolt didn't cycle. Some of the bolt lugs sheared off and the bolt/bolt carrier is locked in the "sort of" closed position. Empty round is stuck in the chamber. I'll have to mail it back to Volquartsen -since the bolt won't move if anyone @ UPS asked to show them that the gun is empty, I can't do that.
