    shooters paradise in oxnard

so in light of the fact that Agoura pistol range is out of commission is shooters paradise in oxnard OLL friendly? Do you have to purchase their ammo?

From my experence they seem OLL friendly since i brought my saiga with 500 rounds and my mossberg. They checked my ammo. For long guns you can fire your own ammo, for handguns i think you need some type of ammo. If you rent a gun you have to use their ammo.

I shoot my AK and AR OLLs there all the time. For rifles there are really no ammo restrictions - your own bi metal and milsurp OK. For common handgun rounds you have to shoot lead free, which they sell. Really nice folks there. They DO NOT, however, do OLL dros at their shop.

You can bring your own lead free pistol ammo? Is theirs expensive? What type?

So .22lr handguns and rifles with non lead free ammo ok? And if you have an uncommon caliber handgun like 9mmLargo is ammo with lead ok? Shotguns?

I'm up for that. How about a Saturday morning in the next few weeks? I can bring some interesting weapons also.

How about on Sunday?? I'll be on a plane for most of tomorrow, but can def. make Sunday, AM? I have a Saiga 7.62, I've GOT to try out my new AR build(!), my 2 Steyrs, and KelTec P-11.

I will be visiting my dad in NM the next weekend, then I should have my new PF-9 to shoot after that too!

                What say all?

Well I only work nights so I can do pretty much any day of the week and anytime during the day. If we schedule it in a few weeks we could get more Calgunners.

Actually, Sunday would work for me since the wife has other plans. My firearms will be warm & dirty from the range on Saturday. Perfect. I can bring some of my excessive supply of corrosive milsurp and Wolf and blast away without worrying about reloadable brass getting away from me!

                    How about 10AM?

Cool, I'll put up a separate post in the general forum announcing it. Maybe we'll get a few more. They don't open until 11AM so that's the time to meet.
