Went to the range yesterday...

Took the chance yesterday to go to the range with my Colt Commander. I was really hot, so I didn't stay too long. I had one of those 25 meter zero targets for M16A1 available and figured they would work just as fine for pistols

I shot 8 rounds from 20 yards, off hand. Could have been better, but I was impatient and focused too much on the grip and not on trigger. So it's a ~6" group now...

Ammunition used was PIERCE 230gr. FMJ-F. They use Speer brass and are being made in USA in case you didn't know. I'm actually pretty satisfied with that ammo.

Not a bad group.

Now start practicing at 3, 5 & 7 yards.

Those flyers are from anticipating recoil.....other than that, of too shabby.
Colts are Flow of Force guns......so let the Force flow through you Luke....Lol!

Practice, practice, practice. That's the only key to success!

I appreciate positive comments on my shooting, but I'm never satisfied with my shooting. Which is good and bad. I do like seeing improvement, but then again, 10sec later I'm like "could have been better...!"
