Reviw & Comparison of MY new CZ p-07 & HK USPc 9mm

Well I said I'd do a little review of my new CZ, and thought I'd also throw in the HK for comparison, this is only my opinion, yours my vary, and that's OK.

Well to start, I like both of these quite a bit, but there are defiantly some differences, the 1st would to be the price, there's a good spread in price here.

Not exactly sure how much different, but right around $250, maybe a little more, CZ being less.

Now the slides, on first impressions were quite dissimilar, first thing noticed the amount of slide to be grabbed ruffly half a slide height difference, the CZ was the lesser, recoil spring seem much stiffer on CZ also.

The grip on the CZ is pretty nice though, and angle seems real good for a point and shoot HG, the HK grip is good also, but not as well to point and shoot as CZ.

Size is a little more for the CZ also, but not enough to make it any less carry able than UPSc.

Now I've only had both of these for a short time, and my take on shoot ability go's to CZ. Why ? it has an Awesome trigger, much more so then HK. for clarification this is a CZ p-07 (new release not duty).

Mag release is much better than HK as it just pushes in, where HK is a downward motion, this not a deal breaker for me.

Now the good part, HK shoots real good, as most know, but I've got to give the nod to CZ for a couple reasons. 1. it's slide is much lower in the frame, bring the barrel closer to the grip plane if that's right, HK sits much taller, and I'm sure (CZ) being lower, helps w/accuracy.

    2. The triggers on these 2 are vastly different IMO, double action is much lighter & smoother on CZ vs HK. but the SA is just awesome on CZ, this is the clear winner in my hands.

Shot placement of CZ is far an above the HK, by a significant amount, makes in my hands CZ the clear winner for accuracy.

Conclusion for me, for a range shooter CZ for the win, for CCW, there both OK, but will give it to HK for a little smaller, but only a little.

They will both be on my CCW, and that's for sure. at least till I find the next best thing. HA HA...

Hope this helps a little for those looking to a new CZ, while SSE still exists...
