    Aluma-hyde on chrome slide

Planning to buy a Canik 55 TP-9 before the SSE dead line, and my LGS only has the chrome slide in stock. I can buy the black/fde from out of state FFLs but after the transfer fee it'll cost me 40 dollars more. I was planning to buy this and spray aluma-hyde over it.. Will it stick to the slide since its hard chromed? It's going to be my used and abused gun, so the finish isn't going to matter much... I just dont want it coming off when I scratch it with my nail.

No spray on coating will adhere correctly to Hard Chrome unless proper prep is done (sand blasting).
