Huffpo article on practical implementation of 2A for minorities

Interesting article. Most of the comments don't even reflect the content of the article (from either side), but the article itself is an interesting read. Not saying the conclusions are 100% accurate (easy to come to wrong conclusion from limited data set), but it sure would be interesting to see actual numbers though.

The Second Amendment is for all Americans, that's why it's in the Constitution. If the Progressives over at Huffington Post would like to make a statement about the social inequalities of the right to keep and bear arms in this nation, they might want to study the history and intentions of government sponsored gun control.

Sadly, the author even touches on the real issue by calling out Reagan for his infringements on the Black Panthers, but alas misses the point entirely.

The author did an amazing job of cherry picking examples. He never mentioned the LAPD and the newspaper ladies, or the LAPD officer that rammed a vehicle and opened fire on a white man, another Dorner related incident. How about, (name escapes me) the veteran in Texas open carrying a rifle confronted by a LEO while his son filmed the altercation. Or any of the adventures of our ol' pal Leonard Embody.

simple psychological explanation for this line of thinking on both sides; in-group vs non in-group bias. fight it all you want but study after study proves one is more likely to see one who they view as a part of their group as less of a threat than one who is not. even after being made aware of the bias, it is still statistically relevant, it's life deal with it.

As for Reagan; scum bag move, but hey, he couldn't have the rabble standing up for their rights and becoming a strong force. funny thing is now it has nothing to do with race/gender/or sexual orientation, the ingroup is the political class and their enforcers and the non in group is the rest of us. that last point can be seen in leo vs no leo armed folks, such as what was seen in the open carrier in tx who was assaulted in front of his son and numerous leo open carry contacts.

Absolute total POS article. Just more race baiting and using the 2A to do it. I would submit that any minority that open carries in a location where it is legal to do so would have no more issues than anyone else.
The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public's money.

              Let's see...
Who is working hardest to disarm minorities?
              Democrat politicians - Check
              The legacy media - Check
              Hollywood - Check
              "Educators" - Check

              NRA - Nope
Democrats>Socialists>Communists - Same goals, different speeds.

The most effective and pervasive enemy of American freedoms today is the Legacy Media. Defeat them first.
