    Miltech Arms rip Off?

Anyone else buy firearms or ammo from Ed Silva at Miltech from the south Bay area and not receive them? My Brother bought an M1-D from Miltech and 250 rounds of 3006 ammo. Never received the Ammo and the rifle took all of 51/2 years for delivery.
Mike also bought an M1 Carbine for $1600 and never received the rifle. Did get sob stories on the phone though..
Look, DON'T buy anything from this company. Ed Silva will Steal your money, he is a thief.

Yes, he is a thief. I "bought" a carbine from him 5+ years ago and never received anything.

Really sorry to hear this. I handled a Miltech 1941 Johnson Rifle back when they first offered it and was very impressed with the workmanship of their restoration.

        Sad.

If it is the same company as chiefnra linked to then yes I bought a Rockola and a Winchester M-1 Carbines from over 20 years ago while living in the Wash DC area and they shipped on time and had no problems. I also considered buying a Johnson from them but couldn't come up with money. I was impressed with the work they did and recommended them to others at the time.

I don't know if they changed hands or not. I hope they get straightened out.

          good luck

An odd setup there. Years ago I wanted to buy ammo from them.
I live maybe 5 miles from their shop but couldn't just drop in to buy a case of 30-01 in en-bloc clips
Had to have it shipped to my house.
1st and last time I did business with them

Damn. I was referred to them to restore my Johnson. Now I'm worried I'd never see it again.
