I'm putting together an AR-15 in .22LR and I'd like some advice for a trigger. Something in the $50.00 to $75.00 range with good weight setting for target shooting. Thanks

I vote for the ALG combat trigger. For the money I am very satisfied with it. If you get an opportunity to splurge treat your self to a Geiselle trigger. I love mine and I feel like other then a quality optic, it was the best money I spent on an AR upgrade.Comment

Back before that current .22lr shortage, most people would put more rounds through their RF guns annually than through their CF ones.
Why would you not spend as much on a trigger for a gun you'd shoot a lot more often?
Just because a RF rifle is usually more reasonably priced than it's CF counter part, doesn't mean it is a lessor rifle.
In the OP's price range, I'd go with a ALG ACT also...because the journey is the worthier part...The Shepherd's TaleComment

I wouldn't spend money on an "enhanced mility-style" ALG trigger. I own many different brands of triggers and I can list pros/cons of each, but bottom line is they are designed differently than mil-spec and that's the primary reason they have light pulls, clean breaks, and are still safe.
Eliminating a gritty feel by buying an ALG isn't worth $50 to me, it's still a minimum 6+ lb trigger.
Just use the mil spec trigger that comes in your LPK and buy a JP spring kit for $10.Comment

this is what i have on my rifles and it works for me.
for my 10/22 a Volquartsen accurized trigger pack--no stupid bullet button and i get to drop mags freely all day long.
for my AR (LWRC M6A3) a Geissele SD-E
some would put a high end AR trigger in their 22 but what for? anyway, that's just my .02Comment

I have an RRA 2 stage match trigger in one of my AR's and like it a lot. I haven't tried all the competition in the same price range though. This trigger is just a bit above your price range at $108 on their site. Often you can find it on other sites a bit below what RRA sells it directly for if you look around.
