Bloomberg is throwing bank to fight his reelection, outside of my sheriff not sure of another that states on national tv that folks should "buy a gun" to protect themselves, it's their duty....for the record I am conservative but so long as anyone respects our rights and the US Constitution I am GTG..

FYI, this is the Sheriff that basically told the people of Milwaukee County to get a gun because we (LE) can't be there quick enough. Here's a quote from the 6 page article in the Aug 2014 America's First Freedom magazine.

"To put it bluntly, self-defense is the first law of nature," Sheriff Clarke said recently in an exclusive America's 1st Freedom interview. "When good people have the freedom to carry concealed firearms, society gets safer."

Now if that's not pro 2A, I don't know what is. I don't give a rats backside if he has a "D" next to his name on the ballot. Someone like that will get my vote any day.

Just because there aren't any "D's" that are worth the dried up dog crap on the bottom of my shoe in CA, doesn't mean there aren't any worthy of our support anywhere in the country.

I think in the position of sheriff, ones stance on 2A matters is much more important than their other political beliefs. His spare of influence is much closer on gun issues rather than, say, welfare.

Who is his challenger? What are their chances of winning? If it's a primary fight from the left assuming the primary challenger wins....... who on the "right" would THEN be running - and what would THEIR chance be of winning?
