Hello Fellow Calgunners. There is a group attempting to screw us by offering ot sell us guns from our WTB from out of state.
Recently, I was approached by someone claiming to be from Texas....mind you, these guys are really good !!!! They used a listing I found from 2013 on another gun auctin site to provide me pictures telling me this was there gun. When I got a hold of the original seller from Texas.....it was sold and shipped to Montana.
When questioned, they did not respond with other than "trust me"..I am a honest dad. I further asked them to take a pic of the gun on the front cover of a news paper showing the date.....guess what....no reply other than "trust me"
Here's the kicker. They provided a Texas phone number (I traced to an old land line) and was told to text only (hard of hearing) or spoke in a different language probably !! and being in IT realized this was a remote IP phone setup with a Texas number.
This guy even went with an email name "Arsenal Glock" !!! Really good !!!! His written english was good also !!
My adice...if you cant touch it, dont buy it !!!!
