Chinese military parts=win, Chinese commercial parts=fail

Wow I just got burned. I ordered four Chinese AK side rails from Centerfire Systems, thinking that they were mil surp parts. After all, the Chinese military AK stuff is pretty nice. Well today I finally got the damn things and saw that they're made by UTG! Well my first thought was, "Uh oh Spagetti-Os, I've been screwed." But then I decided to examine them before I jumped to any conclusions, since they could be perfectly good right? Well they looked fine, but I'm sure glad I test fitted a side mount to them before I decided to install the rails on my gun. All four of them attached loosely to my mount and would not even come close to locking down. What a load of crap, I'll be calling Centerfire first thing tomorrow. Ten days to deliver and I get useless junk.

If you "really" had to couldn't you just adjust the side mount a few "teeth" clockwise to make it lock down tighter?
