Hey Guys,
I create videos for a couple of YouTube channels /RatedRR and /Guns. I've been faced with a few hurdles over the last couple years trying to make videos. I don't want to get too long winded about all the details so I'll just tell you what I'm looking for.
- Collectors or individuals with firearms.
Could I be anymore broad?
I have a good relationship with some manufacturers and can T&E transfer in some guns but believe it or not most of the firearms companies with the exception of few don't appreciate the value of social media. I'd like to film everything from a Glock 19 to unique collector firearms. Really, any help would be appreciated. It would be easier to coordinate with individuals with larger collections than it would a lot of people with individual firearms but beggars can't be choosers!
- Shooters who would like to be on camera
/Guns is a passion project of mine. I want it to have a variety of shooters giving their opinions. For myself, and I think anyone reading this thread, we understand that shooting has many different purposes and applications. I really want to involve as many people who are passionate about different things be it a shotgunner who is really into duck hunting or clay shooting, someone who just might like shooting steel with his kids... a LEO or veteran who might have opinions on tactical applications to service firearms... to a gunsmith who just has been there and done that and really knows their stuff. I can't emphasize enough I'm not necessarily looking for a "tactical expert". There's plenty of those out there. I'm just looking for people who are enthusiasts, passionate about specific types of shooting applications and like to have a good time doing it.
- Moderators to help out with social media
It's a full time job just producing the videos let alone editing and handling social media stuff. I'd like to get a couple people who might want to help me out managing comments, helping new shooters or people with questions to helping post pictures and videos on various sites. You wouldn't necessarily have to be in SoCal to do this but I'd really like to offer those helping to come out to the range for events so that would just be of benefit to you to be somewhat local.
I film at Angeles Forest Shooting Ranges a lot. I'm an RSO so I'll generally rent a range to film stuff periodically. Other times I'll go out to BLM land or back home to Tennessee, Nevada or Arizona depending on shooting needs. I'd really appreciate any suggestions as to people who might be interested. Feel free to chat with me here on this thread or PM me.
Thanks!
Richard
