I will be traveling on Jet Blue later this month. I will have a pistol with me.
My plans are to use the original Sig Sauer plastic case, with two non-TSA locks, and to carry the case inside of one of those wheeled soft suitcases that are so popular.
I am comfortable that I understand how the check in etc will go. I understand that I will NOT be giving them the key.
What I am not comfortable with is whether or not the airline will allow me to travel like this. The original case will not open at all with the locks engaged.
If you have any experience with this please let me know. I don't really want to spend the money for a Pelican case, but I will.
