    San Diego Shooting Ranges

Anyone know of any good spots to shoot in San Diego. Prefer outdoors. Have a 308 I'd like to get out with. I am off the 15 and Friar. Not looking to drive more than half hour.
    Thanks.

I prefer outdoors as well. Unless it's private, most of it's closed until further notice. Spend another 10 mins & try P2K. They have 50/100 yard indoor & it's pretty nice. I've been around here awhile, not sure anythings better.
Yes I took the pic, no I didn't go swimming!

You really don't have that many options. In addition to the two already listed you could try Rainbow. I hear it's a decent range but I've never been. It's probably a bit more than 30 minutes though.

American Shooting Center on Ruffin is close to 15, just North of Friars.

I live pretty close to you and Southbay is your best bet at 35-45 minutes away.

The liberal see's the glass as half full and tries to take more.
The conservative see's glass as half empty and tries to keep it that way.
I'm with the people on the side just pouring water in the glass trying to get a drink!

Rainbow and SB seem to be the same distance according to mapquest. NC looks to be closer by 15 mins but couldn't find pricing info on them. Going to check out these three to start.

At Pala you can stretch out with that 308 and try and hit 890 yards. Outdoors, less noise, very nice place.

Does sbrgc or Pala allow magnetic ammo?
