Thoughts on Rough Rider Big Bore

I got interested in one of these after seeing someone selling his on here - I actually got to handle one recently and I have to say, I was impressed. My first handgun was the .22 / .22 Mag convertible Heritage Rough Rider. It was a decent enough revolver, very accurate but definitely a lot metal gun, and kind of fragile. But the Big Bore is more on par with something like a Uberti, it has a steel frame.

I want to know if anybody here has actually shot one in 357 and I they had any thoughts about their experience they could give me! I want something different than the Vaquero, something closer to the SAA feel. I like how this gun had 3 clicks instead of the Rugers 2, and how it was a little cheaper. What do you guys think?

I shot one, it was decent. I'd say comparable to a uberti. I own the rough rider in .22 and it's not bad but the only reason I bought it was to let my kids get used to shooting it. They are just not built to last so I'd never buy one for any action shooting or expecting to pass it down to my kids. I'd spend the extra and get a vaquero, they have their reputation for a reason and are great shooters.
