    Anyone have washington CPL?

I applied for mine about thirty five days ago. I know they said it will take up to 60 days for non residents. I also know that their CPL applications have shot up exponentially in the past few years, so lots of applications to process. I was wondering how long any of you waited. Lake County OR told me to expect it in two weeks and if it's not here in three call them.

These are my first LTC's so this is exciting

When I was living up there in 2010 I went to the Tacoma courthouse and applied (as a resident). Filled out the paperwork, paid my $58 and received it in the mail almost exactly 30 days after. Now that I live in CA I think it's technically a non resident permit. I couldn't find anything online requiring me to change my address or to notify them that I left.

Pretty much the same story here, except I got mine in Seattle back in 06. It was a hair over thirty days for me.

Oh and I forgot to mention that I did a livescan while I was there after I filled out the paperwork. So basically there are no appointments to be made. It's all done whenever you decide to get down to a courthouse.

I got mine in less than a week that includes mailing time to LA. I think they sent it out the next day.

But from a rural county out east. What county did you apply in?

I have a Washington CPL and have moved to CA. I asked the Washington DOL about any requirement to change my address, etc and received the following confirmation from them:

"Your concealed pistol license is still valid until it expires, Washington doesn't require an individual to update their address if they move within or out of the state. There is only license that issued for residents and nonresidents. There is nothing that is required of you to do at this time, if you choose to renew the license when it expires then you can update your address at that time.

            Thank you,

My permit took about 45 days. The time varies from county/sheriff.

I applied in Vancouver, WA. I applied around June 22nd so It's been six or seven weeks. I know it takes up to sixty days so we will see. My Oregon CHL arrived in 11 days.
