Same here. As fun as SHOT Show is, I'm not spending the money to fly to Florida for it.
I'd rather use that same money to go to Nationals at Camp Perry.

There is only one SHOT Show. You might be thinking that the SHOT Show is a gun show. It is not. It is the industry trade show where wholesale orders are placed, new products are debued, and industry contacts are made.
They are fun to go to no matter who you are, but if you are going to look for a good deal on a used Garand, it isn't going to happen. Plus you have to have an in to even get a ticket to get in.www.tenpercentfirearms.com was open from 2005 until 2018. I now own Westside Arms.Comment

Fyi, there are hotels right around the OC Convention Center, but they are filling up fast.
Also, many of the Disney hotels are fully booked already for that week, as of a month or so back. So best start looking for the few remaining rooms now, if you want to stay in one of those hotels.
Otoh, there are tons of hotels in the greater Orlando area that still have rooms available.
When booking mine, I noticed the prices were creeping up over the previous week, so I'm guessing there are other events going on in the area concurrently. And as room availability becomes less, the prices will go up accordingly. So book early....Comment
