    Night sights. Which ones?

Meprolight or Trijicon? Looking for what makes one better than the other?

I have both -- the Trijicon HD night sight, and the Meprolight Green/Yellow night sight.

In night/low-light condition, I prefer the Meprolight Green/Yellow. The green and yellow illuminated dots allow me faster target acquisition in dark.

In day/light condition (which I shoot mostly), I prefer the Trijicon HD. The big yellow/orange front dot allows me faster target acquisition in light.

    Just my preferences.

Between the two I would look for whatever is on sale (I'm a cheapskate ). I also have the green/yellow Meprolights and that color differentiation is HUGE during low light/night.

These are what I run on most of my guns. Better than Trijicon HD's for a few reaons IMO (which I also have on another gun).

What sights are those and what are your reasons you feel they are better?

                      Trijicon HD or 10-8 performance.

Who makes the yellow sight? Wouldn't it be better to have the yellow in the front and 2 greens in the rear?

Those look to be the Ameiglo Spartan sights. That's what I use and love them. They are just like the trijicon hd except that they aren't raised as high changing your sight picture. The trij hd's will give you a 6o-clock sight. Also your rear sight is longer. In my opinion it is stronger and helps for sight alignment.

I had standard Trijicons on my G17 but recently replaced the front with a Amerigo Hackathorn. I am pleased with it.
