I feel like im going retro

what's wrong with me? i feel fine, no fever or anything

i owned a Colt King Cobra revolver that i GAVE to my brother back in 1989 because I was really getting into semi-automatic handguns...my last 5 handgun purchases were all semi's, never gave revolvers another thought, until....

just a few months ago, found myself looking at the Ruger GP100 in 3" Stainless...and, finally found the right deal last week...it's currently serving its 10 day sentence

    in the meantime...

now, all i seem to be doing is looking at other revolvers...AND LOVING IT

i know its not senility, im still aware of the semi-auto market, my interest right now just seems to have shifted to revolver models...anyone else ever go through this...is it temporary

maybe someone just really needs to come out with a badass new model semi-auto hand gun that takes my breath away...oh wait, that can never happen now, thanks to microstamping and no more SSE

    am i doomed

i currently have a layaway going on a S&W 640-1 .357 Magnum 2.125" pre-lock. this one wasn't on my short-list. the next one up was and is a semi-auto. that may change.

I sold one of the most desirable handguns on the market, my CZ75 SP-01 for this (S&W 625 PC) and I have a lot more fun shooting this than I ever did the CZ. Revolvers are great. I've been ringing my AR500 gong at 125 yards with this. Of course, trajectory looks about like a football with a 230Gr projectile at that distance but revolvers are a lot of fun.
