    Aldon Smith

Aldon Smith had his day in court Friday. The San Francisco 49ers linebacker received a 12-day sentence and three years probation, among other punishment related to various incidents.

Well slap on the wrist. Is this a good precedent? Or just the privileged few above the common folks. Will Yee get the same treatment?

When you guys show that you can rush the quarteback in a brand new stadium built in the same county where the DA's office is, and where an upcoming Super Bowl is being played, then you'll recieve similar treatment. Good thing Aldon wasn't drafted by the Raiders.

He will screw up again. Likely get a pass again as well. And people do this because he is an entertainer and sells tickets, hot dogs and beer.

Can you name a stadium in the US that's not located in the same county or parish where a DA's office is?

Money talks, and apparently it walks too...or close to it. 12 days and three years probation. What a joke.

Just another example of a famous rich guy getting special treatment.

                    Sickening.

Yes the original stadium was in San Francisco county. Hence it would have been a different DA. Now since the 49ers moved to Santa Clara county they kept the name but are in different counties.

So, does Santa Clara County have a DA?

If they do, then you need to read the question again.

Could people convicted in the past or future use this case as leverage when they got years for same crime? I always wondered could some who is looking at 10 years file suit or bring this up at sentencing saying.
Alden only got 12 days for.
