Talk to me about 10-8 sights

    Hello ~

Just wondering how do you like the 10-8 sights, I have a Glock that I was going to replace the Night Sights on.

I looked at the web page, and saw that they had only a front night sight, but nothing for the rear sight ?

Also ~ does the notch on the rear sight mean that groups ( overall ) are going to open up a little ?

So, if you have these sights on your 1911/Glock how do you like them, and how is the sight picture, and accuracy on your pistol.

    Thanks

Ive seen a lot of guys at classes as well as instructors with them. The whole idea is that the front sight is the only one that matters, so having a plain rear makes sense to help you focus. I use full night sights on my guns since I carry them, but I do plan on getting a long slide gun for classes/matches, on which I will get a set of 10-8's

Have them on my Glock and EB .45. I shoot the .156 rear with Tritium front 0n the .45 and .156 rear and XS Big Dot on the G27. Love them!

I have them on a M&P 9L, 40 pro, 40 Shield, 45 Full size, and just installed them on my Colt Commander. All have fiber optic front sights except the Commander. I'm in the process of trying to find a front for it (stock sights are way to small 6" low at 10 yards).
For fast shooting the wide U helps with target acquisition, I'd recommend a fiber optic front if it's not for personal defense.
I don't know your shooting skill but will bet you'll be glad you have them.

I don't have 10-8 sights but a few of their other products and they are great. Have you considered Trijicon HD sights? I just installed them on my carry XD and am really happy with them.

Thanks, I'm going to look at my night sights on my Glock tonight. I kinda noticed that it took a few seconds to align ( or find )- that front bead.

Since the sights are kinda fading, I figured it's time to replace them ( has it been that long ha ha ), I'm now looking at the 10 - 8 ' s and the trijicon HD night sights.

              Thank you all for posting.
