    Lancaster Gun Show

I went to the gun show this weekend at the Antelope Valley Fair Grounds in Lancaster, CA, $10 to get in and $5 parking, Saturday was busy and when I went back on Sunday it was slow. Ammo prices were not bad; PMC, Federal, etc 223/5.56 was running $7 to $8 /20, along with Barnes 300 BLK at $29 /20 rounds, I still got pissed off seeing resellers of bulk 22lr running $60 to $75 /500 rounds but held my tongue. I picked up x1000 Winchester large pistol primers for $29 along with a loaded out chest rig from a former contractor in Iraq (Eagle Rhodesian Recon Vest, mag pouches, Tactical Tailor medic pouch, and TAG admin pouch) it has a great worn in been there done that look to it, all for $75.

    Cheers,

The prices are getting better. Last November at the AV gun show 22 prices were $100 for a 500 rnd box. Another year or 2 the prices will be back down unless we get another dem in the office.

Inasmuch as you can order all of that online and not pay CA sales tax, and often not pay shipping, you will NEVER get ANYTHING cheaper at a gun show since you are down at least $15.00 before you walk into the place.

Go to see the beef jerky if you must, but don't go to a gun show to get great prices.

I noteced tannerite was on sale at a booth on back wall. Thought it was illegal or is it just illegal to mix and use not illegal to sell.

Yes the AV pawn shop had Tannerite. Part of reason show sucked was the Utah posse that runs Crossroads shows scheduled a show same weekend as they are wont to do. Trying to force out other promoters and create a monopoly.

It's working in Ventura, the Roadrunner show there is on borrowed time. Maybe won't work in Lancaster as it is far from Crossroads shows and Crossroads hasn't tried to bulldog their way in to that venue yet.

May have backfired too as some vendors I know chose to go to Lancaster instead of DelMar which must have made DelMar even suckier than usual. I did not see a CGN bootb at Lancaster but seeing as CGN can't even always get enough volunteers to do Ontario or DeLMar I doubt they can get enough to do Lancaster.
