Has anyone been to this store?

I've never heard of it but it showed up on a google map search. I drove by it on the weekend and it was closed for the day but is there.

good old george

old school gun shop, know what you want know what your talking abought and dont ask any stipid questions and youll be ok,and back away slowly..
ha ha ive known george for 25+ years now and he still treats me like a knownothing kid?.havent been by to see the shop for years i moved away from fullerton,and try not to leave the hill anymore. george use to deal with mostly single actions pisotls and his prices were aways high,he did have alot of relaoding stuff too,also gunsmithing, george is a sourpuss other than that hes allright,,,,,

He knows 1911s. I purchased my Colt 1911 from him - his price was fair considering the work he'd done to the gun.

He is a bit condenscending, but he is very knowledgeable when compared to the big box shops.

Ade at Ade's in Orange is a much nicer guy.

I first I though he was some sort of racist but it seems he is just a grumpy old man who hates everyone equally. Shop is now out of business, I believe he has health issues. Prices were sometimes ok, sometimes a bit high, he did have NIB S&W 500's for 750.

He was good for having non approved handguns at ok prices in nice shape in the consignment rack. Few long guns and he did not ever have cheaper handguns like Makarovs or Lorcins or anything Spanish.

The buzz is that George is retiring soon and is currently in the process of selling of his inventory. It's too bad, I liked George and his store. Oh well. I hope he has a happy retirement.

I stopped by yesterday and the place was prety cleaned out. only 3 long guns in the rack. the door was locked

That is too bad, I went in once and he was very nice to me. He had a lot of old smith revolvers on consignment.

What about Armory of Orange?? It should be in the same little strip mall as Fowlers. Atleast it was 4 years ago.

Armory of Orange has been closed for months. Ken closed it after the insurance to keep it open went way up.

Fortunately he's kept the Armory of Orange CMP matches going but now we are loosing our range at Lytle Creek for paint ball. We're moving to the Brea Gun Club's spot at Lytle Creek.
