A Few Recent Duracoat Projects.

I have started doing Duracoat for myself and now friends have seen my work and want me to do their guns. Here are a few recent projects I am doing or have completed.

My lighting is the best I could do, for now. The color are much better in natural light.

Nice job, have you tried the all in one cans? I want to do some dura coating but reluctant. Looks easy enough though.

I am using an Iwata Eclipse airbrush with a .5 mm tip. I can adjust the coating based on temps with reducer. If you want the best finish you need to spray with a airbrush or HVLP touch up gun. The hardest part is proper prep. Anyone can paint with a rattlecan. The prep of removing sights, disassembly, removing roll pins, etc... All effect the final product and it's durability.
