Fighterpilot?sigpicOriginally posted by gun toting monkeyboyYou did ask. They were only following your instructions. Next time be a bit more careful in how you phrase your posts. If you give people a straight line like that, this is about the level of response you are bound to get. Just be glad you didn't post "Date this rifle"... Those pictures are usually very disturbing.

yup, I've had cases delivered like that from multiple vendors. usually better that way since that is a secure shipping container. if you put that inside another box, then you have to worry about that box breaking open.Jack
Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

That does make sense, those boxes seem to be a heavier cardboard. My only issue is the potential for the package to be stolen. Although, not really a problem in my neighborhood."Bangarang Peter!"Comment

The obnoxiously obvious orm-d stickers and the sender are more noticeable than the black text on brown cardboard anyway.Comment

Yea, it's actually pretty standard. You're worried about security and theft I assume? All ammo shipments are supposed to have the "ordinance" stickers so it's pretty hard to conceal what the shipment is anyway.
Question: Why did you just assume that Brownells was going to ship you this in accordance with your specific requirements/desires?"Kestryll I wanna lick your doughnut."

Hold on, there's no need to berate the guy with questions. It's obvious from other people who may have more experience ordering ammo by the case, that retailers do this, and the OP may simply have not been aware of it. Additionally, he may not be aware that no matter the box it's going to have one of these on it anyway:Yea, it's actually pretty standard. You're worried about security and theft I assume? I've also done a "wtf" regarding companies shipping things(and not necessarily ammo) in obvious boxes, but that's just how it is.Comment

I never received ammo on the doorstep but I did arrive home one day to see my CZ .22 adapter kit next to my door. I was very happy.Comment
