I'd avoid purchasing ammo from stores in Sacramento proper unless you like to register all the ammo you buy with the Sacramento PD so they can come knocking on your door when a crime is committed with a gun in the caliber you purchased from a store in Sacramento.

I'll second Ammoman, I like them. Miwall is right there in Grass Valley though, you're practically on top of the guys -- just call up and drive over for some serious bulk ammo purchasing.
