Wow!!!!! Amazing. Would be interesting to hear the builder explain his reasoning for why they did this. Obvious explanation is he simply used the only parts he had.

Just goes to show you why firearms will never be able to be completely removed from the population.

As long as there is someone with some mechanical and metal working skills.....you will firearms. Perhaps not always of the precision quality we are commonly accustomed too these days.....but there will be chunks of metal capable of expelling high velocity projectiles.
