Got what seems to be a broken magazine with a new sw mp10. Has this happened to anyone before with any gun? One round goes in fine, then when it gets to the second round position it pops out of place and sometimes just slides out of the magazine.

Things happen, it's under warranty so contact S&W. You might get an extra mag or two for your troubles.Comment

I did contact them via e-mail, I just figured I'd describe the problem just to make sure that I wasn't being retarded and that broken magazines is a thing that can happen straight out of the box so to speak. But good to know they have excellent customer service.WTS HK USP45c http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s....php?t=1304283Comment

A broken/misassembled anything can happen straight out of the box. Fortunately a magazine isn't a big deal(and you should get more than 1 anyway).Comment

I picked up a Ruger MIII Target 22/45 last week (just in time as it fell off the CADOJ the day before my ten day wait was up) and discovered that one of the two included magazines would not load past the second round. I got on the Ruger website and saw that they were closed down until the Monday after the 4th of July weekend. Thinking that they will be swamped once reopened, on Thursday last I sent them an email just to get in line so to speak, explaining the magazine issue. SAME DAY I received a human written email response basically telling me that a new magazine will be shipped out to me along with a free return mailing sticker to send the other one back to them.
I did have a hoop to jump through before that would happen-I had to go to another Ruger email address and re-explain the problem AND verify that I was a U.S. citizen (with no explanation as to how to go about that) so I just typed in where I was born and left it at that. Again same day I received confirmation that my new magazine was shipped out and to expect it within 5-7 workdays.

I have a mag that came with a rifle that is ammo picky. I talked to the manufacturer, and they wanted the entire rifle back with the mag. It was not worth it to me when all my other mags work fine. Contact the manufacturer and see what they will do for you.sigpicComment
