The Escondido Fish and Game Association (North County San Diego) is my home range, but I've shot at Santa Margarita (Wilcox 103) in Camp Pendleton a few times

I go to Sharpshooters in SoCal (The staff verbally degrading anyone who asks a question is a bit funny, it reminds me of the Soup Nazi from Seinfeld) since I do not own any rifles. My friend who has a few rifles takes me out to Angeles every once in a while.

Haha. Fred gets pretty grumpy...so do a lot of the other guys in there. They're good guys though once they get to know you. Fred and Justin let me try out their personal handguns (Les Baer TRS and a Kimber TLE) when I was on the market for a 1911 the first time.

Rifle work - Angeles, I really like the range and staff there. And the reloading store is like reloaders nirvana!
Pistol work - Sharpshooters, I'm a long time member at Sharpshooters and definitely can say that Fred, Ryan, Justin, Eric are good people. Anyone who has had firearms pointed at them as many times as those guys would fair alot worse on the "just chipper and happy to see you" scale

Any place that's legal and I can holster up. Private land Mt. Umunhum, BLM, Croy Rd. and when all else fails Metcalf.
