Ppt, but pick up date is 14days.

I recently did a ppt on June 18 2014,but my pick up date is on July 1st,does that make any sense? I'm sure dross is 10 days even includes weekends? The shop is close on Sunday and Monday, does that effect my pick up date? If it doesn't, I know I'm ready to pick up on June 27,2014.am I right?

I did a ppt at a pawn shop and the guy with ffl is off Saturdays so same thing happened to me once

Shop being closed does effect the pick up day. Actually it doesn't you could legally pick it up on the 10th day but since the shop is closed you are SOL till the reopen.

The 28th should be your pickup date, but what you need to know is what time did you perform the DROS and is that time after the shop closes on Saturday the 28th? Then since he is closed Sunday and Monday that puts your pickup date on Tuesday July 1st

Ppt time was 5:40pm,they did mention something about Saturday, but I wasn't really paying attention, bad part on me, yes. So it does affect when shop is closed, like others have posted above. I appreciate your response, and everyone else response. So I do have to wait till July 1st.

Sucks but will make the pick up even sweeter.

You can never pick it up early, even if its the shops hours that prevent you from picking it up. DOJ makes you wait a minimum of 240 hrs

OP, yes you would just have to wait. If the shop is closed, you can't pick up your gun. Be thankful July 1st isn't a holiday

I have to wait 40-60 days when stores took in used guns and won't dros them until they come back clean from pawn hold checks or whatever they call that. Also dealt with a FFL that drosed all guns even off list consignments as 1 a month so had to wait 100 days when I bought 3 handguns.

Once my dad bought me a gun when I was on leave but I was stationed overseas whwn it cleared dros did not get it until over a year later.
