Most bodybuilders I have met were the types that just cant get enough feeling better than everyone else. If they walk into a room they need to be noticed. People carrying guns wont be concerned/not give a **** and that makes the poor BB's efforts in the gym worthless.

I differentiate here between bodybuilders and just average joe fitness buffs. Bodybuilders being the guys who care way too much, grunt (loud enough everybody within 20 feet can hear) with every rep, stare at themselves in the mirror right there in front of everybody, try to act macho and dominant in the gym (patting you on the shoulder, taking up multiple machines/benches simultaneously, intentionally being loud and calling people across the gym instead of just walking over, again, to draw attention...etc.) and... get into competitions.


Everytime I see the southpark episode with the Harley riders being the new '***s' I cant help but think of bodybuilders being even more deserving of the term.

The owner of my gym, who is a former pro BB has Friends of the NRA posters everywhere and the magazine racks are stacked with gun mags.

No. Used to work at 24 Hour Fitness. Good job to meet girls, but personal training is such a sales intensive field I quickly got to the point where I hated my job. Eventually quit to take a job as a shopping cart collector (Front End Assistant) at Costco lol. Now that job was easy and low stress
