          Site seems to have numerous inaccuracies, just look at the PVT Ryan for example.

            They were not banned, but as far as I know, the 1994 Crime Bill did strictly enforce features - so if you had a post-1994 ban Ruger 10/22, you could not put a folding stock on it..

            Or do you mean the CA AWB?

                So your saying my 1985 or 86 Ruger 10/22 can not have a PG foldable stock put on it but my 07 or 08 model could?

                    I am no lawyer, but I think you misread or misunderstood my post -

                    If the current date is anywhere after Sept 13th, 1994 or before Sept 13th 2004 (which it is not - we have passed this timeframe, but for the purposes of discussion):

                    AND you own a Ruger 10/22, as this is our example gun;

                    AND said Ruger 10/22 was purchased in its factory stock configuration after Sept 13th 1994, or before Sept 13th 2004;

                    AND the configuration is with the monte carlo stock;

                    THEN you could not legally assemble it with a pistol gripped stock during this time.

                    Since the Federal AWB has sunset, it no longer applies, so everything is good to go from a federal perspective.

                    Thoughts, anyone else?

                        It is entertaining, when this post first hit I was on and off that site for what seems like hours browsing. It is catchy.

                          There might be a few errors sprinkled throughout. If we catch any, we should help them correct 'em.
