Need assistance identifying part for DIY target stand

I'm putting some plans together for a DIY target stand and came across this picture during my search.

Anyone know the proper name for the two metal joints on each side at the top?

I always called them "sawhorse brackets"...
You will never, in your life, have a chance like this again.
If I were you, I would not pass this up. I would not let this go by...this is rare.
    Come on...what harm??

You should try hitting the target, they will last a long time that way

'A' Frame bracket. They're used to make your 'A' Frames to support your work on site.

Buy a couple smaller round or square AR 500 targets to cover those brackets. I've also seen one company that makes a plate specifically sized to protect the 2x4 but I can't remember which one. But I bet many shops would make one for you if you asked.
