Ever been deer hunting?

Last time I hunted deer in this state(5 years ago) I saw a lot of filipino's in the zones on the western flanks of the sierras. I mean a lot. Doesn't surprise me in the least.

I still think old white men are overrepresented in the shooting ports it is changing as they die off and America becomes more brown but I feel most people seriously involved in the shooting sports and with large collections are older white men.

Filipinos many times like guns but they probably make up like less than 1/2 a percent of USA population. I have probably only met like 1-2 Black. FFL's in my life. Usually even at large gun shows I see less than 10-20 black men. They are like 13% of population but you wouldn't onow it based on my ususal haunts of gun shows and stores and the hunting fields. I have never seen a black female hunter in person in my life.

Come out to a Calguns monthly event, the "whites only" perception will be quickly dispelled. Seeing is believing. I've always hated that line.

Oh and quick, somebody send this to Rob Bonta! At the last Ventura gun show a Filipino man talked at length about how disappointed he was in Bonta as one of the first of his heritage to make it into the legislature then taking a big fat dump on gun owners.

Calguns shoots are a false indication as CA is half non white and most old white guys are afraid of the internet and computers. I think cgn is very much more Asian than general population I think Asians make up 5% of USA population. Cgn is way more IMO,

I thought the same thing every time I would shoot at Jackson Arms in SSF and I was the only white guy there lol. Gun grabbers are the type to throw the race card into every argument so no amount of facts will change this.

I like old white guys too, doesn't matter to me! Everybody's welcome as far as I'm concerned.

Of course it depends on the demographic of whatever area you're speaking about and it's also tinted and limited by personal experience. Have I seen heavily caucasian instances, sure. I've also seen the opposite. Also standing at a gun show for 16+ hours several times gives you a unique perspective.

From where I stand (in CA) the shooting community is vibrant and ethnically diverse. The one thing you won't see, economically disadvantaged people. Why? Various reasons but the major factor IMO is the cost of regulation and liability that is passed on to the consumer. Too expensive to participate sometimes! It's the poor mans right, the rich mans sport.

There's a ton of Asian gun owners. The last 2 ppts I did were 2 Asian guys. Also a lot of Hispanic shooters as well.
