    What gun is this?

    I think it's a Rohm RG-20.

I want one for my cheap gun collection.

Lol, I agree on Rohm. I used to develop a rather pronounced eye twitch when someone wanted gunsmithing on one. It will be a good addition to a cheap gun collection. They have an interesting history.

friend of mine had the rg22.
a small chrome plated (poorly done) .22 caliber revolver with a snub nose short barrel and I was led to believe that was the gun company that really deserves one of the first uses of the term Saturday night special.(possibly a politician called them that.)

      not me ,
my friends gun functioned for a long time and when the firing pin finally broke ,( even though it was the newer "in side the frame" design and not on the hammer itself.)
he got the parts from gun parts corporation and I was able to fix it without too much hassle.
      and it's probably still functioning.

I think the fact that almost everything but the barrel, the cylinder and crane, trigger, hammer, and springs was made out of a cheap zinc cast metal.
people looked down on them.. & today we have guns made out of plastic ..go figure.

I say go get one but show us your cheap collection, if you want to, not everyone is a gun snob.

the problem is in the rest of the country they are almost always less than a hundred dollars, here in California I've seen them go for much more
