Primary Arms red dot for AR pistol

I've seen so many threads with Primary Arms products for sale I'm dizzy.
What I'm looking to find out is, the micro dot they have in sale right now, would that be good on my 7.5" AR pistol I'm building? Not a huge fan of battery powered gadgets, but with a co-witness or 45* setup, I might buy one.
What's your thoughts?

I have the 30mm one and love it, for a pistol I would go with the micro though, less weight. They have a gen 2 micro with longer battery life, id get that one.

I've owned both, they both work, but the 30mm mount model isn't worth the bulk.
