    Lubricating follower springs?

I got an email from some online distributor selling ASC 10 round mags for $8.00 apiece. I figured I could never have enough, so I bought four of them. They came yesterday, and seem to be well made for the price. Question: To oil or not to oil? I've been told to lightly oil the follower spring, especially on cheaper mags. Yeah on nay?

Oil and mags = trouble. If you must lube use a silicon dry lube.

When oil in the spring will attracts dust or powder might cause malfunction.

No lube in mags... It will give dirt and grime a place to stick in the long run and if left un checked, can cause feeding issues...

EEzox and let em sit in the sun to dry. EEzox turns into a dry lube once the carrier solvent has evaporated off.

it is advisable to keep the mag spring and mag interior clean and dry; i wouldn't use oil as a means to accomplish this.

I agree with everyone here on keeping the mag spring and inside of the magazine clean and dry. That's what I was always told by my elders and my gunsmith.

This is good stuff!!! Good cleaner, lubricant, rust inhibitor! Hard to find, have to order off internet. Just re-stocked my supply.

Turned on to it by L.W. Seecamp Co.
