I'm visiting Michigan ... Weather is crazy here but I love their gun laws.. You can own a full auto rifle / 100 round magazine / cash and carry any handgun / conceal carry permits/ hunt almost anywhere / you can own a house for 160,000 / ok Jobs/ weather sucks/

Yep, been that way since at least the '50s. You have to go to the cops and they inspect and log it in.

When I moved there I had to turn my handguns over to the Grand Rapids PD. Later on I picked them up and was issued a permit to possess them. This was in the 80s. Weather does indeed suck but it was better than where I next moved, the Chicago suburbs. Lots of deer hunters in western Michigan, many business would close for opening day.

Just recently allowed SBR's too. Now when I travel back home, I can take mine.

Hello everyone ... Been busy up here .. Agree mackinac island it's beatiful I enjoy the bicycle ride / blue water ... Drove to Chicago city then to niagaras falls Canada .. Coming back home tomorrow .. Better made chips and red pop soda are the best..

Of course, I only find out about them after I moved to Cali and got my first gun out here.....
