    Shooting this sat.

Alright, so I just called burro canyon and made a reservation for next saturday. I'm bringing 6-12 friends that have never shot before Hopefully they'll like it.

    It will be fun.

Bring your own shades, chairs, bench etc. And the tarp to catch shotgun shells. Maybe your own target stand. Targets get destroyed easily when many people shoot.
'Cuz big holes are easier to see.

You can correct my spelling and grammar error anytime.
I welcome it. How else would I learn.

I can imagine. I'll be bringing cardboard triangular tube boxes, fill them with dirt so they are anchored and pin up targets.

Oh also, does Burro Canyon allow clay shooting in the private bays? Like trap shooting for example?

I don't believe so. Those ranges seem more for tactical and scenario shooting. However, they will be building a dedicated trap range in the near future according to their website.

I asked if clays were allowed on the private ranges, and this is what they said: ", clays are allowed on private ranges"
they also have a sporting clays course for 28$ and hour with a box of clays included they said.

ive shotten clays at the private ranges at burro and have never been hasseled. just make sure they dont fly over the side berms and you should be fine...try to make it straight out or at an angle from corner to corner. put that high school geometry to use!! haha

I'm pretty new here too, great info on here and I've learned a ton about firearms laws and such for CA. Great resource.
