Does anyone use it to lube bolts, actions, receivers, barrels, etc.? 'Seems like it would be excellent, even if after burnishing it into the surface you still use a regular lube or oil.

This stuff looks pretty good.
One thing that concerns me is that it will definitely bond to the metal. Once bonded, only an aggressive acid like nitric or HF will be able to remove the bond. You do not want to get anywhere near Nitric or HF. HF is an exceptionally dangerous acid. You will not feel it when it gets on you. HF will seep into where your bones are and will decompose you from the inside out!
If you do choose to use this stuff, I highly recommend that you clean the metal ... and I mean really clean the metal before using.
I think I will stick to normal lube.
I was thinking, at one time, to treat the projectiles for reloading with HBN, (hexagonal boron nitride). I have heard that the HBN works just as well as Moly and does not make near the mess as Moly, (molybdenum disulphide)Comment
