    WalMart Sacramento cease ammo sales.

Dunno what's going on but WalMart in Natomas, Sacramento just pulled ammo sales, the peon said it was a Corporate dictate and couldn't give a reason why.

What the hell is going on, where am I gonna get cheapo ammo now?

I just got some ammo from the Rancho Cordova store yesterday. Also kinda far from you but Wild Sports in Orangevale has some good ammo prices. If you look in the Thursday Bee sports section, they have some coupons for ammo discounts. I picked up a case of Federal .223 from them today (25 x $4.00). Not the best price out there but pretty good for local stuff. River City Gun exhange is good for ammo also.

Geez, now sacramento is falling victim to the loss of great priced winchester white box. I'd better go pick up a few more boxes from the rancho wal mart before they get the notice to pull their ammo.

Hopefully the Walmart in Roseville will continue to stock/sell ammo.

Walmart in martinez stopped also. Went today . They said they had like 5 tonnes of ammo in the back but couldn't sell any. I went to vallejo and took the 7 boxes they had though.
          Please, calm down.

Damnit, so you're the one who bought all the ammo. J/P, geez I wonder what all this pulling of ammo is about. I really hope it ends soon.

Both San Jose stores; Story Rd and Monterey Rd are not selling ammo anymore. No one could tell me why at the store. The Milpitas store still has ammo (well not anymore .40 once I got done). The Mountain View salesperson I spoke to on the phone said that they were out of stock of ALL ammo. Don't know if that meant they are not selling it anymore or if they are out of stock since my spanish isn't that good considering I live in the USA.

Just an update that I spoke with the managers at both the Mountain View store and the Milpitas store and both will continue to sell ammo. They both said that since Walmart doesn't sell guns that the sales are getting discontinued do the these are areas where hunting isn't big (I don't know). The cut and paste to send Walmart feedback is

Bummer, guess I'll never go again. Luckily my range has new production ammo for $2-3 more than walmart per 100.

It'll be interesting, I remember talking to the sporting goods guy once at Martinez when they were out of clays. One of the local shotgun clubs was buying them out and ordering 100 cases more, because they were cheaper than any other source the club could find.
