Let me know when you visit DeLeon's office. I'm pretty jaded but THAT'S something I want to see.

It's something that I imagine would work best as a surprise... so we'd have to work it so they were open to meet, yet not knowing what it was really about... but that's false pretenses.

Or just maybe make sure he's in the office and do a surprise visit. But there may be a few doors (literally) to walk thru before face to face access with him. And since I imagine there's security barging in might not work.

Do you have a relationship with anyone at the LA Weekly? I had some good luck getting good press with the OC Weekly back in the day. Back before they gutted their editorial, they liked covering stuff like this.
