So today is Fathers Day, and like many of you did something to enjoy the day.
1st off, wanted to spend it with the wife, why you say, cause I love her.
I get to plan the day, 1st off go the the new DOWN RANGE, INDOOR facility in Chico, which is awesome, even smells good, like a new car.
Wife says can we just use one lane together, sure I say if that's how you want it.
We sign in, and since it's FD, I get my lane free
awesome.
I ask if there's any off rosters I mite try while there, but sadly no.
So still good as we both have ours, which was the plan anyway.
We've never been to indoor before as we have so much outdoor to use, but gotta tell you it was Awesome, w/moving targets and all.
Guy wants to check ammo and firearms, while he's checking we talk about ammo and such.
So no steel except for AK 7.62x39 cause there isn't any brass.( but all other no because he had many stuck cases in firearms from patrons).
reloads are OK as long as you loaded them, and you can pick up your casings, and they even have a tool to use. and you don't have to buy there ammo.
We get in and there is nobody there, so AWESOME ( came @ 0900 ) the range it self is beautiful, clean & tidy, and AC blowing, Awesome.
I set it all up, tell wife go for it she says, go first, again awesome, and fire 1 mag, then have her come up, set target to 21 ft, she dose great, now my gun is new so ask her to use it, dose great, but not crazy about the mag release HK USP, hers is 1911.
After fire multiple mags, we move on to body silhouette target, set at end of range and let her fire while it move towards her that was so fun, we shot the H**L out of that thing.
The smile on her face was, I'll say it, AWESOME.
After finishing we go to the counter to settle up $16, OK here go's, AWESOME.
While talking to one of the guys, I ask about SSE Glock 42, says LE only sorry.
I say can I see one, sure he says.
Well I am now buying it ASAP, why cause it's AWESOME got to have it, and my FFL will do the SSE for me.
Anyway, we went gaming for the rest of the day, and won so AWESOME again.
